Event: Ashurst in Action: A Virtual Experience for Students and Graduates

Join us for a series of interactive webinars and workshops to learn more about life at Ashurst .

What is Ashurst in Action?

  • Ashurst in Action is a virtual miniseries that gives you the opportunity to connect with our lawyers, trainees and early careers team, and gain insights into our work, culture and values.
  • This series consists of six sessions, each focusing on a different aspect of our firm and the legal profession. You can choose to attend one or more sessions, depending on your interests and availability.
  • The sessions are designed to be interactive, engaging, and informative. You will have the chance to ask questions, participate in polls and quizzes, and network with our people.

Who can attend?

  • The series is open to all students and graduates who are interested in pursuing a career in law, regardless of your degree discipline or background.
  • Whether you are in your first year of university or have already graduated, you are welcome to join us and learn more about Ashurst.
  • The series is also suitable for those who are considering applying for our vacation schemes, training contract or first year insight day.

Event 6: Meet the Early Careers Team

Date: Thursday, 29 February 2024

Time: 12pm to 1.15pm

The final series of Ashurst in Action will be hosted by Ashurst's Early Careers Team, who will share their insights and expertise on what they look for in candidates, how to avoid common mistakes, and how to showcase your skills and potential. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions and get feedback from the team.

The webinar will cover the following topics:

  • Tips on how to write your personal statement
  • How to prepare for online tests
  • How to impress in assessment centres and interviews
  • How to handle feedback and rejections

This session will be hosted via Zoom and a meeting link will be circulated the day before the event.
